I wasn't sure I could get through it, even though it is a beautifully written, extremely detailed account of an exquisite animal and the brave people of a region I had no idea existed. I am so glad I did. The climax was so powerful my heart about jumped out of my chest. What wonderful writing, and so informative. I want to tell Mr. Vaillant directly how much I appreciate his work, but I do not have facebook, or twitter, or my space. Is there any other way I can contact him?
