Dear Maeve Binchy lover:
Today we are going live with a new story by Maeve Binchy: “A Weekend in Summer,” available as an e-short. Minding Frankie, Maeve’s most recent book, is a New York Times bestseller and her fans have called it one of her best and want more. Well, here is a chance to treat yourself or someone for Mother’s Day… and join Maeve on “A Weekend in Summer.” It’s only 99 cents, and it’s the thought that counts.
Enjoy,

Buy the ebook: KINDLE | NOOK | IBOOKS | OTHER RETAILERS

This is such a great idea! But why does iTunes say the cost is $3.95? I can’t figure out how to get it for 99 cents.
That’s so odd! The iBooks page is saying that the ebook costs only 99 cents: http://itunes.apple.com/us/book/a-week-in-summer/id426035337?mt=11 Do you have the Apple iBooks application installed on your reading device?
Thanks for pointing that out; I just figured out the problem. When I looked at it in iTunes on my computer, the price shown was $3.95 – but when I bought it from iBooks on my iPod Touch, I got it for 99 cents. Looking forward to reading it.
Is there a way to order this maybe through Amazon? I am not familiar with downloading and would like a paper copy if possible. Thanks
As of right now, Binchy’s short story is only available in a digital format. If we’re able to bring this story to print, I’ll be sure to let you know!
I READ ‘MURMERS IN MONTROSE’ FROM ‘DUBLIN 4 TALES’ (BONUS IN ‘LILAC BUS’) AND HAVE BEEN HAUNTED BY GOOD WIFE EMMA’S DILEMNA EVER SINCE. AS AN ANCIENT SOCIAL WORKER,PASSIONATE OBSERVER OF HUMAN CONDITION (BUT NOY OUTWARDLY OR OBVIOUSLY) I AM PLAGUED BY THE QUESTION: IS THERE ANY HOPE FOR A MALE ALCOHOLIC IN THE IRISH PUB CULTURE TODAY?? JO
May I get this short story sent as an e-mail to my Mac computer? If so, how? Or do I need to have Nook or Kindle or an I phone, etc.? Thanks for your time in answering!
Therese, you will have to use an eReader or Adobe Digital Editions to read this eShort.
not fair I can’t get this on my Kindle in Australia!!
I would love the 99 cent E-book but thought because I/m Canadian it was not available to me, is that so?
